30 May 2024

ARCHITECT@WORK, the curated two-day trade fair aimed at architects, designers and specifiers, had its fifth successful showing at Ifema Madrid for its 2024 edition on 8th and 9th May, with 2.659 architects, specifiers and designers attending, a 20 per cent rise in footfall from 2022.

Over 155 leading European architectural suppliers went through a rigorous selection process to showcase their innovative new products and offered up the latest innovations in interior and exterior fixtures and fittings, surface solutions, building systems as well as lighting, sanitary and heating technology and much more.

Enchanted visitors and exhibitors

With an exceptional rise in footfall, the event was once again a magnificent success. Exhibitors and visitors alike were delighted to attend, as evidenced by the many positive comments captured during the show.

The enthusiasm about the show is also reflected in the first surveys and testimonials. Exhibitors are thrilled with the contacts they made. Visitors highly appreciate the format of the show as well as the quality of the products presented. Having a professional judging panel overseeing the product selection, ensures that this is one of Europe’s most highly respected trade shows of its kind.

Particularly praised is the fact that ARCHITECT@WORK is a varied 360-degree experience. The exciting talks programme and the inspiring materials exhibit curated by MaterialDriven proved to be very attractive elements of the show. The lounge areas were as always highly popular and contributed to create opportunities for in depth conversation, where participants can connect, forge new business relationships and broaden horizons in discovering new products.

Theme 2024 – Healthy Materials

To honour the show’s theme, the materials curation “Healthy Materials for Human Wellbeing” by MaterialDriven, explored what makes a material healthy and focused on healthy materials that are commercially available as well as those in development. Also introducing the range of certifications and labels that help architects, designers and constructors make better, healthier choices when specifying materials for their projects.
